Role: Part-time Instructor/Teacher/Adult Educator
Pathways Educational Services is looking to add to our team of talented instructors. The ideal candidate has:
- a post-secondary education.
- a teaching or training qualification (Adult Educator/Trainer preferred).
- an intermediate level of proficiency in Word and Excel.
- experience supporting adults in transition (e.g. Social Work background)
- excellent English language skills (reading, writing, speaking and listening).
- online teaching or customer service experience.
- report writing skills.
- a positive outlook towards life and learning.
- an engaging personality and great customer service skills.
- a passion for continuous learning.
You should be competent in one or more of the following subject areas:
- English
- Math
- MS Office
- Accounting
- Industry Software
- Business office administration
- Business management
- Job search/resume development
- Languages
- Customer service
You may have gained these skills through attending school, teaching at a school, working in one of the industries listed below, or a combination of all sources.
- call centre

- logistics
- retail
- manufacturing
- security
- tourism
- management
- social work
Other skills:
- technology/software skills such as AutoCad, Sage Accounting, Quickbooks, etc.
